This stunningly beautiful short fine art film does an exquisite job of painting and poetically uttering the colors and shapes, the heights and depths, of the utter vastness, infinite and eternal God consciousness, the Alpha and Omega, the First and Last, the Beginning and the End, the All-Seeing Eye—your divine nature. This is recorded video of my oral presentation on 8 April 2017 at the Mormon Transhumanist Association Conference in Provo, Utah. It is an abridged version of my written paper, which can be read online at ThyMindOMan.com here. The written paper is about three times longer in content, with 72 endnote references and links. So this oral presentation is a very brief introduction, indeed. But watching it does have a different quality to it that some may prefer over the written text. Ann Purcell relates the following account that occurs during meditation:
“My experience of stillness, or transcendental consciousness, has become vast and universal, often blazing with intensely brilliant, even blinding, light. Words cannot even begin to describe the intensity of bliss and the tenderness of emotions that not only swell in my heart, but penetrate into every pore of my being. Is this an experience of God? I don’t know if it is God for sure, but I can definitely say without a doubt it is the ‘Kingdom of Heaven within.’
Today I feel I had my eyes opened to the meaning of scripture. It was like flipping the switch on a light. I suddenly understood and the meaning was laid open to my view. I’d like to share with you what I think is a key to understanding the scriptures having to do with the “natural man.” Continue reading “A Key for the “Natural Man””
Ann Purcell relates the following account:
“During the first few years after I started meditating, the experience of deep silence was absorbing and charming. I would see a dark vastness in front of me. In time this darkness sometimes transformed into a field of brilliant light. The experience was one of increasing pleasantness. I felt anchored to my inner depths, less tossed about by outer changing circumstances. Underlying insecurities started to dissolve, and I felt stronger and more accepting of myself as a person.”
John 14 (KJV)
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

A narrative and a dream; For some time I was prey to an intense obsession. I ceaselessly practised meditation and spiritual exercises, since the problem of knowledge assailed me with insoluble difficulties. What they say about it in books brought me no light.
